SESSION ONE
Realism Intensive
June 19 – June 30
6:00 -9:00 pm | Monday-Friday
This class will focus on the work of Tennessee Williams and the study of the Actors Five Questions, the Visionbox technique based on the work of Earle Gister (Yale School of Drama 1980-1999). Each Actor will work on two scenes from Tennessee Williams to be performed for a general audience and industry professionals at the end of two weeks study. This class is appropriate for actors new to Visionbox or returning actors. Classes are Monday thru Friday from 6pm - 9pm.
SESSION TWO
Chekhov Intensive
July 10 – July 22
6:00 -9:00 pm | Monday-Friday
This class will focus on the work of Anton Chekhov and the study of the Actors Five Questions, the Visionbox technique based on the work of Earle Gister (Yale School of Drama 1980-1999). Each Actor will work on two scenes from Anton Chekhov to be performed for a general audience and industry professionals at the end of two weeks study. This class is appropriate for actors new to Visionbox or returning actors. Classes are Monday thru Friday from 6pm - 9pm.
SESSION THREE
Shakespeare Acting Intensive
July 31 - August 11
6:00 -9:00 pm | Monday-Friday
This two-week intensive will focus on text analysis, scansion, and "articulated thought" in Shakespeare's plays. Actors will perform soliloquies and monologues along with at least one scene with a partner. This intensive will support actors at all phases of their educational and professional development. Classes are Monday through Friday from 6pm - 9pm.
