An Important Note About Donations
Visionbox Studio was founded on December 1st, 2010 as a 501(c)3 non-profit. Our current base-line operating expenses are $25,000 per month to $15,000 per month, and only about one third of this is covered by our course tuition. We rely on the generosity of private donors, limited grants, and the support of patrons of the arts in Denver to cover the rest of our operating expenses.
Just as importantly, we strive to make this professional level theatre actor training available to all - regardless of educational, economic or socioeconomic positions. This is ART, and being so should be available to all who wish to study it. Therefore, we often allow less financially able students to simply come and train on a scholarship. This also is only made possible through the generous donation of others, and has allowed many young actors access to master’s level theatre training, otherwise unavailable to them. Through this we have seen the talent pool in the Denver area (and abroad – as our students continue to successfully gain access to national and international colleges) only increase in a way that would not have otherwise been possible. We continue to strive forward in our vision and mission of helping to raise the level of the performing arts through professional training and the development of new performance work. We desire to create long lasting relationships with those interested in our work as both audience and as students. Visionbox Studio is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit, and thanks to the generosity of people like you we can continue to train actors and directors, and help in raising the level of the performing arts in Denver. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law.
